Best scanner and OCR there is.

Creates OCR with 100% accuracy—every time. I found PDFScanner out of necessity, and I’ve never looked back and never been disappointed.

I fumbled through multiple free versions of OCR software then took the plunge with a well-known $100 “professional” version of a PDF-creation-via-scanning and PDF management software. It worked okay, until I had a project that required absolutely perfect OCR. The final product was maybe 70% accurate. I complained to the developer, and they recommended I wait a couple of days for a newer version. When that arrived it required a $50 upgrade fee, and I’d only had my $100 version a couple of months.

I thought it might be worth looking around first to see what else was out there, and that’s when I found PDFScanner. It rendered the OCR of that first project with 100% accuracy.

PDFScanner is absolutely incredible and deserves at least 5 stars. I jush wish there was an iOS version.
