Functions beyond expectations for price!

Provides simple, highly effective scanning on Mac. I had a number of documents to scan into searchale PDFs. I have an HP OfficeJet 8600 all-in-one with flatbed and automatic document feeder scanning. Insallation was absolutely simple. On first use of the product, it identified and connected to the HP scanner and was ready to go.

In order for OCR to work, select the deskew option so that the lines of text are returned to horizontal in case a page feeds at an angle.

I scanned a 92 page document into a single, searchable PDF and hybrid word document! My ADF only holds 50 sheets at a time, so I split the document into two batches, and at the end of the first set of pages, the software holds the job open and prompts for any additional scans.
