Does what I need

While I must admit the user interface is lacking a true OS X feel, and how you convert an existing non-searchable PDF file to a searchable PDF file is completely non-intuitiave, the program does a fantastic job of converting PDF scans of whatever, into a completely searchable PDF file. That’s what I wanted, and it’s worth the $15 to do it. The interface does need a lot of polish, but since it’s only used to scan or convert, it’s not the end of the world.

An excellent OCR system. Has beaten everything else I own or have tried.
