poor scanning quality-good ocr quality

This software is good for converting existing pdf files into OCR format, but as far as scanning goes, it stinks. The resolution is very poor and it creates heavy shadows when trying to scan books. Since part of its purpose is to scan documents, I’d say it falls ridiculously short of the mark in this area.

This forces me to use another application to scan the book and then just use PDF Scanner to convert to OCR since it seems that’s all it’s really good for.

As a result, I’m giving it only 3 stars.
