Simple, but indispensable—recently began crashing

A simple little app that does exactly what it says! Far—FAR—easier to use than the software my scanner shipped with, including OCR that actually works—a must if you’re searching for that receipt for the “LCD TV” but don’t remember that you named it something less helpful like “Costco 2013-09-27”

I use the app weekly to keep my records organised digitally and my desk clutter free.

CAUTION: Recently, however, it has begun to crash frequently when attempting to save scans—a frustration if you been sitting around waiting for it to scan a longer document. Make sure your scan saves before you pop that document in the shredder.

UPDATE 31 Jan 2016: I emailed the developer and received a reply promptly (Thank you!). He believes it is related to an issue with OS X’s Dictation service. I have disabled Dictation and will update this review if that eliminates the crashing.
